“Heart of a Lio” explains the story of Leo Messi until the World Cup in Russia.
In the “telling” advertising agency telling we love the advertising that Gatorade does. They are finding their voice in a very competitive sector such as sponsorships and sports drinks. We remember the fantastic motivational ad with Serena Williams or that impressive figure made with water drops.
Now they surprise us with this ad to explain the story of Leo Messi before arriving at the World Cup in Russia.
The Gatorade’s ad tells us in an epic tone the life of the Argentine footballer; from birth to the present moment, highlighting the story of personal improvement. Leo Messi was diagnosed with a growth problem when he was a child, a disease that prevented him from growing and fulfill his dream of being a professional footballer.
The Gatorade’s ad was made by the Gizmo studio in Buenos Aires. The short film does remember (of course) any Pixar movie and invites us to see it complete even if we do not like football. Of the best announcements of the World Cup of Russia.
